Chocolate Poured Fondant Icing

  • Chocolate poured fondant is a more liquid and creamy form of fondant. Can be used to cover petit fours, eclairs and donuts. 
  • It also must be heated before using it to coat your confections. 

How to prepare:

  1. Heat the 250 grams of poured fondant paste with 25 grams/ mL of water in a bowl over a pot with simmering water (water bath) for a couple of minutes until has the consistency of a thick cream.
  2. Use immediately to coat your baked goods. If it gets hard you can rewarm again in the water bath.
